Dencar, a car wash technology company, announced the availability of Sidekick, a solution that digitally connects a car wash with a gas station, even if the car wash is on a different property or operated by another owner. This will let the gas station and the car wash to sell joint services to their customers, help grow one another’s business, and increase each other’s profits.
The Sidekick module plugs into a gas station’s point-of-sale system using secure Ryko 4 and displays a sales message on the pump’s screen promoting car wash services at the partner location. Customers can buy a wash or a membership from the pump and the gas station gets a percentage of the sales. The Sidekick module then generates a wash code for the receipt, and the customer enters that code at the partner car wash.
Sidekick a.k.a. Gas Pump Integration
Sidekick enables you to sell retail car washes on your gas pumps. The gas pump receipt prints a code that is entered into the car wash pay station for redemption. The gas station must supply an AC power connection and wired secure Internet connection to this device in an environmentally controlled secure location.
Dencar says that this solution lets car wash operations to gain access to a new, expanded customer market and gas station operators to tap into a new revenue stream and grow their business.
