Throughout the week, volunteers from Kleen-Rite’s Columbia, PA home office and Mount Joy, PA distribution center will actively engage in meaningful community service initiatives aimed at enhancing local spaces and supporting affordable housing development efforts.
Kleen-Rite associates will partner with the Columbia Park Rangers to assist with park beautification efforts. Volunteers will contribute their time and energy to mulching, weeding, and trash removal across municipal parks in Columbia Borough, helping to maintain safe and welcoming outdoor environments for residents and visitors.
In addition, Kleen-Rite team members will collaborate with Lancaster Lebanon Habitat for Humanity to support the completion of a five-unit townhome project. This initiative aims to provide affordable housing opportunities for families within the Columbia community.
Members of the Stewardship Committee stated, “Kleen-Rite Kares Week reflects our deep commitment to giving back and making a tangible difference where we live and work. By supporting local organizations and investing in our community, we are living out the values that define who we are.”
