Splash Car Wash, headquartered in Milford, Connecticut, today announced the acquisition of its 5th Long Island, New York location with the purchase of Spiffy Car Wash in Commack. This follows Splash’s recent acquisition of USA Carwash in Hempstead earlier this year.
The site currently operates as an express wash with retail gas. Splash intends to remove the gas operation and replace it with additional self-service vacuums. Additionally, Splash intends to renovate the wash tunnel and add equipment to the operation. The renovations are expected to be completed over the next two months without having to close the operation to customers.
Dan Petrelle, CEO of Splash, stated, “We’re excited to continue our expansion on Long Island. We will continue to expand our footprint to provide our customers the convenience of multiple locations across the area.”
The Commack acquisition is in addition to three sites Splash has under construction in Nanuet and Syracuse, New York, and in Springfield, Massachusetts.
