Splash Car Wash, headquartered in Milford, Connecticut, announced the opening of their Springfield, Massachusetts location. This is Splash’s second Massachusetts location – its other site is located in Randolph.
The Springfield wash is an express exterior wash with 115-foot tunnel and 23 self-service vacuums. The project was done in conjunction with the Hutton Group, who managed the project through the entitlement and construction phases.
“It was a wonderful collaboration with Karen Hutton and her team on this project. We faced some hurdles and she was able to work through them and produce a beautiful site for us”, stated Dan Petrelle, CEO of Splash. Hutton operates 128 carwashes under the ModWash brand.
“Massachusetts is a market we’re very interested in, and we’re currently working on a number of sites in the state”, added Mark Curtis Chairman of Splash.
Splash will be celebrating its 45th year in business on May 1st. Splash, co-founded by Curtis and Chris Fisher, opened its first site in Greenwich, Connecticut in 1981.
